During the summers, we all have to deal with oppressive heat that stops us to enjoy this season. Most common problems that we face in this summer are skin eruptions, dehydration and sweating. But lets don’t worry about it as there are plenty of ways to keep you super cool in this summer even if you don’t have the tons of cash to spend on air conditioners .

Incorporating even a few of these tips into your lifestyle can make an enormous difference in how much the heat affects your body. Implement them to transform your body into a natural air conditioner. Following are the tips that keeps your body super cool naturally:

EAT WATER RICH FRUITS:

In summer, body gets dehydrated very quickly that results in more heat in the body. Therefore eat water rich fruits such as watermelon, orange, strawberry , etc. You must ensure eating foods that cools your body and give you relief your body from excessive heat.

MAINTAIN GREENERY AROUND YOURSELF:

There are various benefits of planting houseplants around us. So many studies are carried out to understand the effect of greenery to the human brain. Even placing a potted plant in your work-space helps in lowering blood pressure, improve reaction time, enhance productivity and also improves the overall well-being. They can purify air, improve mood and they can also make a room feel cooler. Plants release moisture into the air, which helps regulate the relative humidity of a room and can make it feel more comfortable than it otherwise would.

INCREASE YOUR VITAMIN C INTAKE:

Many researches has shown that intake of vitamin C helps the body to respond positively to heat stress. It reduces developing of heat-related illnesses such as heat rush and heat exhaustion.Daily vitamin C intake also shortens the length of time it takes your body to adjust to a new hotter environment. Meditation helps keep the mind relaxed, which is extremely important during the peak of summer when the rising temperatures outside cause an increase in body heat, adding to the level of stress and irritation within.“Proper breath” is our bodies natural way of cooling down. Hold your breath and slowly exhaust through your nose. This will make your whole body feel light and comfortable.

AVOID CAFFEINE AND ALCOHOL:

Avoid caffeine and alcohol during summer as these promotes dehydration due to which our body looses water content and results in generating heat.

OUTFITS:

During summer one must avoid tight fitted clothes and wear light color to avoid heat.Light colors reflect light, which means you’ll be cooler in white or pastels than you would be in dark clothes, which trap heat. And whenever possible, opt for them on the baggy side: loose-fitting clothes provide better air flow, which means you’ll feel cooler.

DRINK COCONUT WATER:

There are so many benefits of coconut water in summer. You will feel refreshed when you just sip some coconut water on a hot sweaty summer noon. Minerals like zinc, magnesium, calcium, potassium, sodium etc are found in coconut water. It quenches your thirst and helps you keep your body hydrated in summer.

Also you can rub coconut oil on your body before taking a bath. It gives a calming, cooling and soothing effect to the skin.

TAKE A COOL SHOWER:

Take frequent cool showers to keep your body temperature down and rinse off the sweat.You should take a minimum of twice a day that includes one in the morning and other before going to bed in the night.
